“Beta has her own iPhone app”
(via Dan Budiac)
As if to provide an antidote to last night’s hand-wringing about how Silicon Valley douchebaggery is ruining the iPhone market, my friend Dan just posted this screenshot of a brilliant iPhone web app he wrote to keep track of his dog Beta’s walks. Tiny, ingenious, single-purpose apps like this always fill me with glee, and the human (or should I say dog) touches like the “Good girl!” button crack me up. The thing even pushes Beta’s walk/pee/poo status to Twitter, which is hilarious until you think about how practical it could be for a couple. Dan, I salute you—I say get this thing native and on the app store pronto!
